We've faced the pain of losing our baby boy, Bastion, Autumn's beloved grandma, Carol, and Brandon's big brother, Corey. The challenge of explaining Corey's passing to his children was palpable. With the expert guidance of Jessica Correnti, MS, Certified Child Life Specialist, we crafted this book to simplify the complex topic of death for children.
But our vision extended beyond just education. We aspired to encourage families to develop new traditions. This book introduces a unique concept: a special stocking to remember and honor those no longer with us.

Eden and Ellie's Christmas is Not the Same is for any loss. Sibling, parent, grandparent, pet, etc. We don't mention parents, grandparents, siblings, or anything else that could be triggering for you or your kids. The one exception is that Eden has a pet cat, Ellie.
